This is a 4 x 6" gouache plein air painting on watercolour paper, from my travels through Gros Morne National Park, in Newfoundland, Canada.
Gros Morne is an incredible park, with several UNESCO World Heritage sites among the many incredible places within it, thanks to its unique intersection of geological features and events, the resulting unique ecosystems, and the local cultural history.
This painting was created while sitting beside the Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse, a historical site on the west coast of Newfoundland, looking towards the mountains and Tablelands of Gros Morne Park behind the town of Rocky Harbour. It was only slightly damp, and only slightly buggy, and the birds were singing with a vengeance while I spent a few hours on enjoying and recording the gorgeous view.
It will be shipped protected in a plastic sleeve, between pieces of oversized foamcore, inside a padded poly envelope. All shipping includes tracking and insurance to protect your investment in this lovely piece of original art.
All prices are in CAD.
